I totally hated it tbh, it's just so cringe, its slow, nothing is going on, the story-line is fucked up, I dropped at episode 7, I might finish it later just for the lol.
Kirito once again coming and godmode he's op af, he's good at everything, has no real personality traits and just the doggy as usual, will do everything that seems 'right', what a white-knight.
The useless waifus, are introduced only cuz they need to exist, but they add nothing to the story (til ep 7), I mean they do, the creators just take us as complete retards.. Ima spoil a bit but to be able to infiltrate one of the most secured base in the world by just wearing a wig??? owo
They are trying to make the anime asking existential questions but it's just badly done. I actually enjoyed ep1 and was really hyped, but I just can't keep up with the cringe. They never learn, they already did that with the 2nd arc of s1 where asuna is a fairy (most boring moment and irrealistic, the bad guy was awful). The interactions between characters are just useless, it's just so much useless speeches, interactions that add nothing to the story-line and when we see Kirito finally fighting? there we go again with the useless again boring speeches : oh no! save me! and of course as we, viewers are dumb, they have to literally spoil us and show us everything, they dont let us imagine what is coming next, no they have to show us that alice or w/e her name is, is still alive.. by some vision that of course only kirito can see.
I would say it's good if you only watch SAO, but i have watched countless of isekai, and sao is from far, the worse. It has so much potential but ruined by cringy fan-service and boring story-line. the only thing I actually appreciated are the visuals.
If you're looking for a good isekai I recommend The Rising of the Shield Hero and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
